Beto's gun confiscation
« on: October 16, 2019, 06:00:18 pm »

I haven't taken a great deal of notice of this for a while now coz I believe that Beto has zero chance of ever being in a position to influence anything, let alone be in the Whitehouse, but there is just so much publicity about "gun confiscation" from mouths of the left (really all democrat candidates) that I can't ignore it any more.

However, "buy back", "recover", "take back".  What?  How can anyone fall for this garbage?  Language is important.  For these words to be correct, the guns would have to belong to government to start with - they clearly do not, never did!  The appropriate words are "steal", "take", "extort", "confiscate" ("confiscate" is a euphemism in itself, implies some sort of right to ownership, or the mentality that says "you can't be trusted to own that so I'll take it").

Seriously, after looking at videos of the debates so far I have concluded that the democrats WANT to fail.  They are ALL utter clowns, the whole thing is a total joke.  I really want to hear someone else's views.

Maybe Beto (or anyone who supports or agrees with him) should do some reading about Stalinist Russia, the Holodomor, "confiscating" weapons, farm machinery and tools, food).  Anyway, see Beto admit that this is what he wants:

Define "Assault"? while they talk about stealing weapons, they all know if they try, they would start a civil war.
so it is all smoke.

Nobody needs an AR-15
Nobody needs a whiny little bitch ether, yet here you are

If we want our grandchildren to be able to give thanks for being Americans, we'll need to.....start steering a course away from government control of our lives-and start moving back toward greater personal responsibility.   Ed Feulner

I think, therefore I am not a progressive liberal socialist marxist democrat

That's WY

They keep people like Beetle and Occasional Cortex around to market test ridiculous ideas. So far, we aren't embracing their New World Order ... voluntarily, that is.
