Somehow I didn't think that a "gay" president was a realistic option for the American people.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/buttigieg-drops-out-2020-democrats-react

Pete Buttigieg apparently caught his rivals for the 2020 presidential election off guard Sunday evening after abruptly pulling out the race.
The announcement from the former mayor of South Bend, Ind., came less than a month after he declared victory in the contested Iowa caucuses and ahead of Super Tuesday, in which 14 states are set to head to the polls and one-third of all delegates for the nomination will be at stake.

You must mean "another gay president", or an "openly gay president".

At least Obama didn't talk about "his husband" all the time.  It was left to Joan Rivers.

Ha, like this crazy woman really had a chance.

Amy Klobuchar Drops Out of Presidential Race and Endorses Biden
Ms. Klobuchar made her decision hours before Super Tuesday. She shocked the primary field with a third-place finish in New Hampshire, but ultimately could not compete with better-funded rivals.

Ah another one down:

https://edition.cnn.com/2020/02/29/politics/tom-steyer-drops-out-2020-race/index.html

CNN)Tom Steyer ended his presidential campaign on Saturday night after the billionaire businessman failed to gain traction in a large field of Democratic candidates.
Steyer exited the race after he failed to claim victory in South Carolina, a state he invested heavily in, hoping it would turn around his sputtering run.

Ah Bloomberg now.

Looks like the democrat party wants to get Joe Biden to be POTUS, then lock him up in the newly opened luxury dementia-care wing of the Whitehouse and have his running mate (strongly rumoured to be Hillary Clinton - who may be partaking of the "dementia-care wing" facilities herself, more than is admitted to) "run" the country (and I hate to admit it, but by default the rest of the world as well).  Your thoughts?

Gee, we'd all better pray for a Trump win (more than we might have been gonna do anyway perhaps).

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/04/us/politics/michael-bloomberg-drops-out.html

Michael R. Bloomberg, the former mayor of New York, addressed his exit from the race, and announced his support for former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr.

And POCAHONTAS (Elizabeth Warren)

This is hilarious, read all the article if you've got time.

https://babylonbee.com/news/warren-returns-to-tribe-in-shame-after-failing-to-retake-land-from-the-white-man

CHEROKEE NATION—Having dropped out of the presidential race, Elizabeth Warren rode in solitude back to her reservation, having failed to take the land back from the pale faces.

"I am sorry, my people. I have failed," she said somberly, a single tear rolling down her cheek. "The white man still holds our land, and the very trees cry out against them. May Great Spirit grant us another chance in 4 harvests." The Cherokee people looked confused, so she clarified: "That means years according to the Indian talk book I picked up."
The Cherokee expressed mixed emotions at seeing Warren return, from "Who are you?" to "How many times do we have to tell you that if you're not gonna play some slots at the casino, then you're gonna need to leave?"

Now the last two men standing have their minders arguing over whether or not they have to stand for ONE WHOLE HOUR in order to debate each other.

Re: Another one bites the dust, Tulsi Gabbard this time
« Reply #27 on: March 19, 2020, 05:08:26 pm »

Eh, not like she had a chance of winning anyway, but endorsing Biden?  Really?

https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/485500-gabbard-drops-out-of-2020-race

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) dropped out of the 2020 presidential contest Thursday, endorsing former Vice President Joe Biden in what is now officially a two-man primary with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).
Gabbard's withdrawal comes after dismally low finishes in every primary and caucus held thus far. She only garnered two delegates in total, both from American Samoa's caucuses.
