easy to store enough gas for 1000 miles on a motorcycle.

using 4   5 gallon each "jerrycans".   2 in the saddlebag position, and one on front and back of a buddyrest.  Put your bob on the gas tank in front of you and ride.  With a fairing and driving like a grannie, a  250cc bike, on the highway, gets  80mgp.  During that much riding, you're bound to find more gas, in combines, tractors, gascans, farmer's gavity fed tanks, stranded vehicles.  So no place is "remote", folks, not in the lower  48 states. hundreds of people can be at your door 2-3 days after  shtf.

no room for the BOB there. :-) COULD, however, put another (5 total) jerrycan on the front fender and still have the M4 spring clip mounted across the handle bars, with the BOB on the gas tank.

If you went to the extreme of the picture, you'd have a 3000 mile range, but somebody would (for sure) shoot you to GET all that gas!  :-)
