There is some useful info here:

Useful, yes -- VERY useful.
But how many of us at this moment in our lives are fully capable of taking advantage of this information?

We need to study and practice, to acquire necessities, to establish resources. That takes time -- even as we are practicing for it right now. But this is intensive stuff, it can not be taken lightly; it should not be undertaken without the confidence of success -- or suicidal desperation, which hardly counts; if we’re undertaking it for suicidal purposes, we might as well just get it over with. I refuse to hide JUST to stay alive; I prefer to stay alive for a purpose -- to fight for freedom.

Gulching -- staying under the radar -- is not necessarily the same as "disappearing", certainly not disappearing as this link implies.

I will absorb what "some useful info” I can -- and I'm grateful for the link. But in fact these tips do not encourage living a second, "normal" life, as the author suggests. The enormity of it makes me more depressed of ever getting away from Big Brother, rather than hopeful of doing so.

I started reading the article and noticed a mild pro-cop slant.  Whats up with that?

I also liked the advice about letting a 110lb police dog chew off your weak hand so you can stab the dog in the skull with a knife in your strong hand.  That is absolutely brilliant!  Thats like letting the guy with the revolver shoot you 6 times and then charging him while he is reloading.

The advice for men to shave their arms is a little weird.

Another good part is where you just go ask a governmental job placement service for new ID and SS# and then somehow it appears, as if by magic,  and you go on to the next step of getting a job with your new fake identity.  Um.  It seems like the part where you get the new ID would be the most important part of this whole process, but it seems to be missing here....

Alton - sorry if that came across poorly.  I do appreciate you bringing the information, my criticisms are of the content of the link, and are not in any way criticisms of you.

Thanks for the link....Some interesting information.

I do have have a problem with dropping a pistol in a post office box, so that the JBT's can get a hold of it.

The police will keep any firearm you deposit into a postal box for a long, long time,

I can see the point the author is trying to make.

I saw errors aplenty in this piece but, like I said, SOME useful info here. Glean what's good and chuck the rest.

Some very good info in there. But I think he gets a little carried away with leaving DNA on toliet seats. I don't think you have to worry about that as much as spycams.

Thanks Alton, a great place to jump off from based on each individuals needs. No one plan will work for us all and that which works for you might not work for me, etc. I will be using some when the time comes...

Yes, some useful information there. In reading that I am reminded of a passage in George Carlin's book 'Brain Droppings,' regarding tattoos:

"Another reason not to get a tattoo is that a tattoo is positive identification. No one should ever do anything to help the police. In any way. Especially when you may be the object of their interest."

It was meant as humor, but it's also good advice.

On the subject of some of the sillyness, I do like how if you're being chased by a dog you're supposed to give up a hand -- but your appearance is so important that you should shave your arms.
