Which book? Maybe I can direct you to an existing thread on the subject.
BTW, Welcome to TMM.

JWR's How to survive the end of the world as we know it. The book is from what he calls a "grid down" or worst case stand point. I have 1 big army base and 4 air force installations within 15 miles of me. Im curious to know how things will be around here when the SHTF. I also work at one of the installations as a civilian contractor. If something goes tango uniform while I am on post Im not sure what will happen or what my options or objectives should or will be. I had intended this to be a new topic, but oh well. Hehe.

I just registered.  I don't have a "post new topic" icon on my task bar though.  Whats up with that?

You have to make five posts in existing threads before the "post new topic" button becomes activated. It is an anti-spam precaution that foils some spambots. Sorry for the inconvenience, but trust me, you will come to appreciate it after you've been here awhile.

Checking in from Northern-Central Idaho. Found a signed copy of Mr. Rawles book on the other, less desirable side of the world. Interesting to see how many folks on here from Idaho,
and how many now consider moving here. Glad I found the forum.
