Greetings from another "Mike" in New York! Hope to get back out west(my Home!) in the next year, but, in the interim i am interested in any ideas concerning "bug-out" locations here on the East Coast. Low cost would be a big factor.

Greetings.  I'm a retired USMC guy, now an attorney in Pa.  I'm particularly interested in views on retreats located within a few hundred miles (i.e., one tank of gas) from the Philadelphia area.

Hi everyone,
I am from the Cumberland Mountains of middle Tennessee.  We are seeing a big influx of people buying property here because of the scary world and national stage of evens.  I have done some research and spoke to several people looking for (GOOD) property here in this area.  If the Wardoctor or other SurvivalBlog readers are interested in this area for a retreat I can help provide them with some locale information and possibly some (GOOD) property options.

Hi there.  I'm one more of the feminine persuasion (I gather I'm among the few) who reads SB daily.  I'm working on getting my Dad to read SB (he's already a little survival-minded) and am working on my hubby to at least get him in the survival mode.

I came here today because of JWR's post on Eastern US survival areas.  Trying to convince hubby to "go west" has been a bear, but if we can find an appropriate Eastern US area, he probably will be *much* happier.
