A question for FSP members
« on: March 03, 2004, 12:13:15 pm »

Sunni told me to ask about the Free State Project here.  I'm in the process of writing an article that outlines the problems that I have with the Free State Project.  I've looked at many of the other anti-FSP articles, and most of them are poorly researched.  Are there any essays that I should read before I finish my article?  I am not interested in pointing out things that have already been rebutted.

Thanks a bunch!

None that I can think of off hand, but you could do a google search for "Free State Project" + "won't work". Or FSP + "won't work". Those two searches gave me over 1000 hits.

There's is a forum at "forum.freestateproject.org" (IIRC) you can check out, includingn "Skeptical of the FSP". If you peruse around other forums at FSP, you'll notice several trolls, and replies to them. I imagine several people here also would have comments on the idea, as well.

I got bored with researching for this article a few minutes after I made this thread.  Don't expect to see it anytime soon.

It's great when people can disagree with something so passionately as to want to write an article about it, yet they have not even researched the topic!  :BangHead:

He didn't have to research. He knew many of the people who founded it from the get go.

Well, there was the reporter from Time Magazine who published an article about the FSP; does that count? ;)

Go to porcfest and see how well it's doing for yourself. It is june 21-28 in Lancaster NH. You have to pre register, but no worries there just use a false name, no one will care. A free stater was recently arrested for changeing his name without government permission, and generally being an activist. So the organizers would probably even congradulate us ghosts for such an act.
