Looks like it will be possible to spend most of July in Montana, checking out the state and hitting these
freedom events! Â In July we have events in Butte, Manhattan, Philipsburg, Dillon, and Missoula -- and Three Forks in September.

4th for Fun, Food, Freedom and Fireworks...
At the most recent 'secret' meeting of the Butte Freedom Brigade, Â we resolved
to hold an event for all freedom-inclined individuals on the Fourth of July
in Butte, MT. The Butte 4th of July parade is a hometown tradition that
attracts people from all over Montana. We will be hosting a BBQ in the
afternoon featuring the world's second best beer. In the evening; there will
be a righteous, kick-ass, semi-legal, participatory public display of
pyrotechnic enthusiasm plus the official fireworks show.
To facilitate the exchange of information about this event, we have opened an
e-mail list at yahoo. To subscribe to this list, send an empty e-mail to
Butte4thofJuly-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. We will include information about
directions, accommodations, networking, discussions, etc. This list will be
for all freedom-lovers to assist them in getting to Butte for the 4th.
We want this event to be in addition to and a compliment to the other upcoming
meetups being planned. Please let us know if there is any help we may
provide.

Great Northern Celebrity Bowling Pin Shoot
http://www.mtssa.org/Every year, MSSA holds a bowling pin shoot to raise funds for political
action. It is held on the fourth Sunday in July. This year, that will be on
Sunday, July 24th. It will be held at the Deer Creek Range in Missoula,
beginning at 10 AM. This is called the Great Northern Bowling Pin Shoot, and
this year will be the 21st time this event has been held. Shooting bowling
pins is designed to be fun and "doable" by novice shooters, or veteran
shooters who don't usually shoot in competition.
