My Advice: Be a Robot!

Don't dress, act, or behave in any way other then what is expected in public. If you do, you're just going to get starred at, given dirty looks, hassled by security guards/authority figures, etc. I used to be goth/artsy and expressed it in my mode of dress. BIG MISTAKE. It took me years to realize that "expressing myself" was bringing more negativity into my life then not expressing myself. Be, act, dress, and talk about whatever you want at home or at like-minded friends houses, but not in public. You WONT be appreciated/valued for your uniqueness. If they want bland and boring, give it to them.

Wow. Thanks for the advice.
Guess I'd better hang up the fish helmet and pink boa,
and I gotta figure out where I put my pants.

You've got the right idea, around here we call it being a mole (hence the list name).  Yes, some times it sucks, some times it's better than others.  That's why we hang out here, to get and give support, and learn about really nasty things that can be done while looking innocent.  (Did I say that out loud, or just think it?)

Welcome, anyway.

It's not unusual to run into folks in the internet that are dense enough to have event horizons.
