RFID tracking protection
« on: May 13, 2006, 09:51:01 am »

Hey there,
For any who care about financial privacy and will be at the FSW jamboree in Worland come see me. I'll be busy shooting and meeting free state folks and ghosts like me. Read Smartcardguard.com (cannot buy there yet). I'll have some of the first production, I hope, with me. I'll be the old bald red head with the SKS and smile.
Peace.

From one Bill to another: Welcome to TCF!

Sounds like a useful product. The website could use a bit more info and pictures.

Hi Mr. Bill
No pic's until product in hand. Between the research and the development this has been a looong grind. Thanks

RFID Legislation reintroduced to help consumers
« Reply #3 on: January 18, 2009, 01:54:32 pm »

Quote
The Washington State House of Representatives is reviewing a package of bills this week that would require greater disclosure on the part of RFID technology end users, in order to alert consumers as to when the technology is being used.

Quote
Three bills currently being reviewed by the state's House of Representatives would require retailers to place warning labels on products containing RFID tags, and to obtain opt-in signatures from consumers issued RFID-enabled loyalty cards.

Two of the three 2009 bills, HB 1006 and HB 1011, would require manufacturers and stores to notify consumers whenever RFID chips are embedded in products they purchase—or in the packaging of those items—and to provide consumers who apply for an RFID-enabled loyalty card with a printed notice they would read and sign to indicate they understand there is an RFID chip embedded in that card.
