Murder as a writing assignment has a St. Joseph teacher in hot water. The assignment for some Central High School students --plan a murder, name who you would kill, how to do it, and how you would dispose of the body.

The inappropriate writing assignment was given by Central teacher Michael Maxwell. District administrators confirm Maxwell asked the high schoolers to think of someone they would kill and then describe the what, when, where and how to get away with it.

The real question is: Had the students completed the assignment would they have all gotten expelled and turned over to the local authorities for making "terroristic threats"?
